High Brew: When the brief says beer, we brew a narrative

Our latest storytelling reel for ‘High Brew’ traces the journey of Gobindo Bhog from Bengal’s golden fields to a crisp pour of High Rice. We set out to tell a story that goes far beyond the pour. The idea was to celebrate not just an ingredient, but a cultural connection, a reminder that craft beer, at its best, carries a sense of place.

The reel traces a journey from the land that inspires it to the glass it fills, beginning with Bengal’s familiar icons: trams gliding through tree-lined streets, yellow taxis caught in the evening rush, and lush rice fields swaying in the warmth of the sun. Together, they capture a rhythm that feels deeply local, yet universally nostalgic.

The Gobindo Bhog, a rice known for its fragrance and delicacy, transforms through brewing into something entirely new yet comfortingly familiar. In that transformation lies the essence of High Rice: a coming together of tradition and experimentation. Every detail, from the colour of the pour to the final sip, carries a hint of Bengal’s warmth and quiet sophistication.

Through High Rice, we wanted to create more than a product showcase, we wanted to craft a sense of place. The mood stays rooted in Bengal, but the storytelling speaks to anyone who believes that great craft begins with great origin.
